Jungle Dragon Project Fund

Although Project Jungle Dragon is still in an early phase of development, funds are already being collected to support the project. Currently, the following funds have been collected:

What will the funds be used for?

The funds will be used to support the development and promotion of the site, for example:

  • To finance the hosting costs of the site
  • To hire a professional graphic/web designer to improve the look and feel of the site
  • Promotion materials and costs, i.e. ads, posters, etc.

All of the funds listed on this page will be used 100% on the project, and all donations will be listed publicly, although names of donaters may be anonimized if they want to.

2. Purchase a service

Not only can you donate, you can also get something in return. I currently offer the following services:

  • Sponsor listing. By donating a minimum amount of 100USD you will be associated with this project as an official sponsor. Everything more than that is obviously more than welcome.
  • Ad placement. You can place your text link ad on this site, or better yet, my blog, which gets over 300,000 pageviews per year. You can email me for pricing details.
  • Email consultancy. I'm an experienced developer and architect in the areas of web development, Lotus Notes, PHP/MySQL, some .NET and bit of J2EE and Linux. I can offer you email-based consultancy for your project in exchange of a donation. The consultancy is based on trust: no cure, no pay. And, it is up to you to decide what to donate, based on the quality of my answers. Email me to pop your first question!

3. Offer a service

If you are unwilling to donate by means of a financial donation, there are alternatives. These may include you offering free or discounted services/goods, information, or resources. Possible examples:

  • Free or discounted LAMP hosting
  • Free or discounted graphical/web/logo design resource
  • Wildlife taxonomy data in a database format
  • Free or discounted promotional resources, such as ad placement, printing, posters, merchandising, etc
