Introduction
IDocuments is a Lotus Domino-based collaboration application. It allows you to create, edit, categorize, search and share documents with your team. Furthermore, it has extensive discussion features on board, allowing you to collaborate and share rich, secure information with your team mates.
IDocuments is extremely easy to use, due to a streamlined, intuitive and customizable user web interface. The fully web-enabled architecture and navigation removes the need for a Notes client for each user. iDocuments puts the user in control, allowing them to personalize what information they want, how they want it and when they want it.
Why?
Due to the generic, simple and skinnable data- and navigation structure, iDocuments can be put to use in various situations. These include:
- Personal online document storage (i.e. a personal knowledgebase)
- Shared online document library
- Teamroom or project room
- Discussion forum
- Community
- Online picture album
Status
This project was finished in 2004 and is ready for production use. It is, however, no longer maintained by S3maphor3. The project has been carried over to the public at OpenNTF:
